We have so much planned today, but she wont start – The joys of the over lander vehicles
Well what a start to the day. We arrived to get started and warmed up, so we could leave to get some work done on her. She had different ideas
She did not want to start. Checked all the gauges, everything was fine. Checked all of the solar energy and battery meters, all fine. Tried starting her and it was like the batteries were to weak. We even rang the previous owner to make sure we hadn’t missed anything, we hadn’t.
We ran through all of the settings and parameters multiple times to make sure we hadn’t missed anything. We checked everything was turned off as to not be a drain on the power…..Nothing worked. We had a friend give us a jump start to get some power in the batteries……again, nothing.
Suddenly, there was a clunk. A mechanical clunk that rocked Matilda. No idea what it was or what it was connected to, but we tried to start her again in case it was something that was stuck………………………..She started Woohoo, what a relief.
